  El Gato Viudo has been a local dining tradition for almost 40 years. Simple and amiable, this old-fashioned tavern occupies the street level and cellar of a building off Calle San Miguel and offers sidewalk seating. The menu includes such good dishes as grilled fish, marinated hake, roasted pork, steak and veal. Calamari with spicy tomato sauce, grilled shrimp, and shellfish or fish soup are also on the menu. The atmosphere is informal, and the staff is accustomed to coping with diners from virtually everywhere.
